New release: Noshiron Commandeered

Taken at face value, the content of the first doujinshi by circle Shouwa Saishuu Sensen that we’re publishing, “Noshiron Commandeered” might be categorized as “Humiliation” or “Torture”. However, all of it is actually (somewhat) consensual erotic play, with “torture” amounting to some light irrumatio and an enema. And there was much rejoicing.

Noshiron Commandeered cover page

Noshiro might be a light cruiser, but her curves are anything but “light”

This doujinshi epitomizes the strengths of circle Shouwa Saishuu Sensen: it feature light humor and funny moments, but also lots of hardcore, steamy sex. And embarrassed cute girls (the best kind of cute girls) getting bullied.
Story synopsis:

Noshiron was trying too hard to get on Admiral’s good side and unwittingly accepted an invitation to a session of erotic roleplaying.
What she thought was a normal date, turned out to be a hot session of S&M, bondage and roleplaying. She starts of somewhat perplexed, but after a healthy dose or irrumatio, enema and hot anal action, she really starts to get into her role of a helpless damsel being interrogated by the evil mastermind (Admiral).

New release: If no one can notice me, there is no harm in fucking a bunch of girls, right?!

The title of this blog post is mouthful, isn’t it? Well, it makes the premise of the first doujinshi by circle Triangle! that we published quite obvious: for unexplained reasons, everybody completely ignores the main character. Of course, he decides to visit the nearby school and have sex with all the pretty girls he can find.

If no one can notice me, there is no harm in fucking a bunch of girls, right?! cover page

Yes, that’s the full title right there

This doujinshi is actually a hybrid between CG set and manga, with only 12 unique pieces of beautifully drawn and colored art (not counting the cover), each depicting a single scene. In every scene, the plot progresses through two or three pages, each using a variations of the original artwork. For example, on first page the protagonist might grab the girl, on the second he might penetrate her, while the last one will shows the creampie.

Here are a few sample pages to give you the idea of the amazing art that this book features:

New Release: Chizuru-chan Development Diary 3

The time has come: the third (and at the moment of writing, the latest) chapter of Chizuru-chan Development Diary saga is finally here, raw and uncensored!

Toning down that dramatic tension a bit, “Chizuru-chan Development Diary 3” by Muchakai is the long awaited sequel to our best-selling Development Diary series.

Chizuru-chan Development Diary 3 by Muchakai cover page

We left the pink heart censorship on the cover page because it looks cute. Uncensored illustration is included on the back cover.

The story of Chizuru’s fall into debauchery continues from the previous issue, only this time the setting shift from the school to a public park. With even more focus on exhibitionism and degradation, the action ramps up when a random guy walk on Chizuru and Tamura doing their SM routine. Has Chizuru fallen so low as to have sex with a total stranger in a public toilet?

I mean, the answer is obvious, considering the genre conventions, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less masterfully executed. We’ve all come to know exactly what to expect from Muchakai, and boy do they deliver.

Just look at these sample pages:

Jump to the store page to see them in bigger resolution.

You might also notice that the artwork look a bit different in this issue compared to the previous ones. We’ve been experimenting with improving the image quality. Gone are the screentones and all the shading now has smooth gradients. Ultimately though, this change’s merit is quite subjective. We’ve heard from some people that they prefer the screentone-y look that the previous Muchakai books had, so we’d definitely like to hear your thought on this.

“Chizuru-chan Development Diary 3” is available in our web store right now.

If you’re a first time buyer, you’ll need to register a new account. After purchasing, your doujinshi will be permanently added to your online library, allowing you to download it immediately or read it anytime, anywhere using our online reader.

Introducing 2D Market points

Ever since we’ve switched to the our payment processor in April, we’ve been struggling with the minimum order value limit (we’ve discussed that previously in our back in action post). Basically, you couldn’t make a credit card purchase on our site if the value of your purchase didn’t exceed 2.95€. Since the majority of the books on our site are priced between 2€ and 2.5€, this meant you had to put at least two books in your cart before being able to checkout with a credit card.

We’ve been pondering the solution that would alleviate this problem. Simply raising the prices of all books to 3€ seemed like the easiest way, but it was the one we absolutely wanted to avoid. Keeping the books in our web shop as affordable as possible is one of our guiding principles, and ramping up the prices obviously went directly against this.

After some brainstorming, we agreed on the solution that would hopefully work out for everyone. Without further ado, we’d like to announce that we’ve added a points (e-wallet) system to our site.

New Release: Victim Girls 12

If you’ve ever played an MMO, have you ever wondered what happens to the player characters once the player logs out? Not it in the gameplay sense, obviously, since they’re usually just removed from the world, but in the “game world” sense. Do they just sleep in the inn, waiting for the player to log back in? Do they wander around aimlessly? It wouldn’t make sense, lore-wise, to have heroes just materializing out of thin air, only to have them disappear a few hour later… And as an extension of that question, what happens to the playable characters once their player stops playing them?

Ben Croshaw tried to answer that question in a rather comedic way in his debut novel, “Mogworld”, but the doujinshi that we’re presenting today has much darker and sinister answer.

Back in action

As some of you may have have noticed, we’ve been having problems with payment processing for the last two months. The problems started in the week after our last blog post and manifested themselves as certain credit cards getting randomly rejected.

After spending a lot of time and resources trying to fix this issue, we decided that changing our payment processor is the only viable solution. This decision wasn’t made easily, as we have just reworked our payment processing UI a few months earlier to make it more user friendly. Still, getting the payment working for everyone was the top priority.

While we were at it, we also added a much requested feature to our site: a cart system. Now you no longer have to go through the payment process every time you’d like to buy a book. Add ALL of them to the cart and go wild. There’s another reason we implemented a cart system, but we’ll get to that in a moment.

Starting from today, when you click “buy” on our site, you’ll be redirected to an off-site page where you’ll be able to input your credit card information. Users from certain EU countries will also be able to use their debit cards.

2016 announcements part 6: Wrapping up

We hope you found something to your liking in our five days of announcements, whether it be
the funny and mean Shouwa Saishuu Sensen doujinshi, the sweet and hardcore Ahitakara Ganbaru doujinshi, the violent hardcore Fatalpulse doujinshi, the full-color goodness of Triangle! doujinshi or the story-driven Mieow doujinshi . If you missed any our announcements, feel free to go back and check them our now. We guarantee you won’t regret it.

We’d like to use this post to wrap our week-of-blog-posts and to give out some miscellaneous info that doesn’t relate to any of our big announcements. Without further ado, in no particular order:

Muchakai news

Between November, when we released Muchakai’s Chizuru-chan Development Diary 2, and now we’ve been asked several times about when is third installment coming out. We’re pleased to confirm that the work on it has begun and that the release date is closing near.

Chizuru-chan Development Diary 3 cover page detail

Chizuru-chan Development Diary 3 cover is delicious

On a related note, if you’re following us on twitter, you might have seen us tweeting about how Muchakai recently announced that the Chii-chan Development Diary is getting a live-action adaptation. You read that correctly: there’s going to be a AV based on Chii-chan’s doujinshi series!

While we were not involved in any way, we’re very happy for Muchakai to have their work acknowledged in this way. We’ll be sure to tweet any legal ways to obtain this AV, so keep an eye on that. And if you want to become familiar with the source material, keep in mind that the whole series is available on our site, uncensored in all its entirety.

Kabayakiya news

One of the circles we’ve introduced on our site last year was Kabayakiya. We’ve already released four doujins from them and the fifth one is on the way. This one is a bit unique as it’s based on a game that Unagi (the artist behind Kabayakiya) worked on. So in a way, it’s a semi-official doujinshi. We’ll write more about as the release date comes closer, but for now we’d like to leave you with this lovely cover page:

Manange! Let's kiss! cover page

Doujinshi may contain more than just kissing.

New Credit Card checkout page

This is not really news, as it’s been in place since early January, but we’ve updated our checkout process. The difference is mostly technical (and includes increased security), but the biggest visible improvement is the way you can now save and reuse your credit/debit card info with much less hassle. If you use your credit card once and tick the “save card info” checkbox, next time you want so use the same card, you’ll only have to put in you CVV number.

As before, no credit card information is actually stored on our server, so you can shop with ease.

“Offline” reader

And for the end, we’d like to introduce a side project that our web developer has been working on for some time now. Basically, it the same online reader that we normally use to display the doujinshi from your library, only expanded to work with local files from your computer. That’s right: hop on here and drop any zip, cbz, rar, cbr or pdf file into the page and read on. Nothing you drop is ever uploaded to our servers as everything is unpacked and displayed right there inside your browser. For that reason we nicknamed it our “offline reader”; once you load the page, you can kill your internet connection and it will keep chugging on.

If you’re in a situation where you don’t have access to a dedicated comic book reader application, this provides simple alternative that works wherever you have access to web browser. It even works on mobile.

As an added bonus, in addition to supporting all the image formats that modern browsers support (jpg, png, gif, svg and more), we added the support for displaying PSD documents, Tiff images and WebM video. Not a feature may people would need, but it comes in handy if you ever need to quickly preview an image or video in any of those formats.

Note that the app is still in development and we’re listening to any comments or suggestions you might have about it. So head on to https://2d-market.com/Reader/App and try it out.

2016 announcements part 4: Triangle!

Unlike the previous three circles that we announced, today’s announcement concerns a doujinshi circle that’s untypical in more than one way. First of all, all their works are done in full color, which is an amazing feat for a doujinshi circle.

Triangle! doujinshi page

It looks even better in high resolution.

Second thing that makes this circle, Triangle!, unique is the fact that the circle leader, Uraha, doesn’t contribute art to the circle’s doujinshi. Rather, Uraha handles the design and production, while the artwork is drawn by a selection of famous artists. Some doujinshi are drawn by a single artist, like the one from which the above page came from, while other can contain illustrations from dozens of different artists. Uraha coordinates the theme and storyboard, while everyone else contributes their art.

It’s an interesting system that allows a single doujinshi to have illustration pertaining to various drawing styles, while maintaining a cohesive theme.

Triangle! doujinshi page

Art’s amazing too, especially now that it’s uncensored

When we start publishing works from Triangle, we’d like to hear from you what you think about individual artists and the doujinshi as a whole. The commenting functionality of our site has been criminally underused and we’d like to employ it to hear your opinions. After buying, leave a comment saying which artist you liked the most and we’ll look into bringing more doujinshi featuring their art to 2D Market.

Tune in tomorrow for our next announcement.

2016 announcements part 3: Fatalpulse

After two announcements that had a lot of happy sex and humor, the time has come to present something a bit more… violent and hardcore.

Victim girls 12 panel

You can guess where this is going

If you spend a significant time on the internet, it is very likely that you have at one point seen an image drawn by an artist going by the name Asanagi. In fact, if you know the meaning of the word “ahegao”, it’s likely that one of the first thing you associate with it is an image of a face taken from a doujinshi drawn by Asanagi. Granted, Asanagi is more known by his circle name, Fatalpulse.

Victim girls 12 panel

While Asanagi has contributed his art to commercial magazines, anthologies and games, he is most famous through his circle’s works. Among them the 20-odd issues long Victim Girls series of doujinshi stand as the most recognisable and representative.

Asanagi is also very active on twitter and pixiv and often posts his drawings there. Unfortunately, last year his old twitter account (@Fatalpulse) got inexplicably suspended by Twitter. He has since moved to a new account (@Victim_girls), where he has, at the time of this writing, surpassed 70k followers. As a response to Twitter’s actions, he has toned down the explicitness of the images posted on his twitter. However, if you take a look at his twitter media feed, you’ll notice that he’s the kind of artist whose art is supremely lewd even when it’s not particularly explicit.

Case in point, taken from here

One of the biggest testaments to Fatalpulse’s fame, even in the English-speaking community, comes from the fact the every single one of the Victim Girls doujinshi has been scanlated into English. Despite that, when the opportunity presented itself, there was absolutely no doubt in our minds to feature such a prolific author on our site, especially since we would be able to work on uncensored artwork.

Currently, the two doujinshi from the Victim Girls series are nearly ready to go on sale and even more are expected soon to follow. We hope this will pave the way to even more uncensored Victim Girls on 2D Market site.

Tune in tomorrow for our next announcement.

2016 announcements part 2: Ashitakara Ganbaru

Following the yesterday’s announcement of Shouwa Saishuu Sensen, we have another prolific circle to welcome to our site: Ashitakara Ganbaru. The circle name translates to “I’ll work hard… starting tomorrow”, a principle that many people follow every day.

Yameta Takashi, the author behind Ashitakara Gambaru, however, occasionally starts working hard today and in those periods has produced several dozens doujinshi, worked on multiple eroge, and contributed chapters to Comic Tenma and Comic MegaPlus. Recently, he’s been drawing the manga adaptation of the light novel “When a gun otaku is reincarnated to a world of magic, he assembled a harem armed with modern weaponry!?”. With a title like that, plot summary is superfluous.

We’re proud to announce that we’ve partnered with Ashitakara Ganbaru and will be selling their doujinshi in 2D Market store.

Characterized by well endowed characters, Ashitakara Ganbaru doujinshi feature copious amounts of hot, steamy action with girls often losing their bearing from the excitement and making some very sexy, dirty faces.

Such emotional range on a single page. Also, boobs.

Currently, there are plans to put four Ashitakara Ganbaru doujinshi in their uncensored form on our store and the work on them has already begun. We hope this will lead to even more doujinshi from this amazing circle coming to the West.

Tune in tomorrow for our next announcement.
